I’m an online teacher and I want to give a lively atmosphere to my students once I started teaching. Any tips and tricks you can recommend?
Engage your audience. Ask questions, do polls, etc.
Hi @Janine !
Here are a few tips…
Brighten your area.
Look into the camera to make a connection
Shoot video from mid chest up sitting or standing
-Standing gives you more confidence (it’s a mental thing)
Act as though you are talking to a friend as you deliver the content
Have prompts (If I have a list I countdown with my fingers and sometimes I show the numbers I’ve drawn out) If you have a checklist, show the printed checklist.
Ask questions, they can respond in chat or in the community or it’s just an engagement tactic for them to think about the he content.
given time to complete something short with a timer on the screen.
Hope this helps!
